Victory Heights Primary School is a community-based, British-Curriculum primary school located in Dubai Sports City, adjacent to the Victory Heights community. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Programme, leading into the British National Curriculum. This is adapted for an international setting and allows us the freedom to inspire all students with creative topics whilst being able to track progress and celebrate success. We are also opening another Primary School in Dubailand City of Arabia next to IMG World.

We are recruiting for the following positions: 

1. Swimming Coach

Victory Heights Primary School, a thriving and inclusive educational community. We are currently seeking a passionate, experienced, and dynamic Swimming Coach to join our vibrant team from August 2025. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of an engaging and high-quality swimming programme across both campuses. They will also play a broader role in school life, contributing to additional sporting activities or offering support in the classroom.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Swim England Level 2 Coaching qualification
  • Prior experience working in a primary school setting with young learners
  • Flexibility and willingness to work one day per week at our Dubai Sports City site
  • The ability to offer additional sports coaching or classroom support
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills

2. Procurement Officer

Deadline: 16th June, 12:00 pm
Start Date: August 2025

Victory Heights Primary School, a thriving and inclusive educational community. We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our administrative team from August 2025. Reporting to the Finance Manager and School Principal. The successful candidate will oversee the purchasing and supply chain operations, ensuring best value for money across all procurement activities. This is a vital role requiring collaboration with internal departments, vendors, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop viable, cost-effective, and strategic procurement plans
  • Communicate the value of strategic sourcing to stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
  • Evaluate and update procurement policies and procedures
  • Source and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and sustainability
  • Negotiate terms and pricing for various purchases
  • Monitor vendor performance and contractual obligations
  • Attend trade shows, visit suppliers, and research market options
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory
  • Ensure responsible and sustainable procurement practices
  • Create and manage purchase orders and evaluate invoices for accuracy
  • Track and analyse financial reports and pricing proposals
  • Prepare regular procurement reports, pricing lists, and spend analysis
  • Work collaboratively across departments on procurement needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–5 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing (school/corporate setting preferred)
  • Solid understanding of procurement procedures and supplier management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with procurement systems an advantage
  • Organised, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset
  • Strong relationship management and teamwork skills
  • Financially astute with an understanding of KPIs and risk management
  • Keen interest in sustainability and awareness of global market trends
  • Technologically proficient and eager to learn
  • Responsible, hard-working, personable and persuasive
