Victory Heights Primary School is a state-of-the-art, British-curriculum primary school located in Dubai Sports City, adjacent to the Victory Heights residential community.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, leading into the British National Curriculum. This is adapted for an international setting and allows us the freedom to inspire all students with creative topics, whilst being able to track progress and celebrate success.

We are recruiting for the following positions:

1. Supply Cover Teacher

We are seeking a team member who is friendly and highly motivated and will be required to work in partnership with the VHPS Team who are extremely adaptable, work under pressure, take the initiative, and go above and beyond in their roles.

Requirements:

·        Must have a bachelor-related qualification

2. Arabic A & B Teacher - Full Time

Requirements:

- Experience teaching in schools is a must

- Preferably have KHDA Approval

3. Islamic Learning Support Assistant - Immediate Start – Full Time

We are seeking a team member who is friendly and highly motivated and will be required to work in partnership with the VHPS Team who are extremely adaptable, work under pressure, take initiative, and go above and beyond in their roles.

Due to rapidly expanding numbers, Victory Heights Primary School is looking for an outstanding Learning Support Assistant who is friendly and highly motivated, the role would be to work in the team to deliver small interventions across a variety of year groups. The LSA’s will work closely with the teachers and inclusion team to monitor progress an - 
·        Experience of working in a primary setting
·        Confidence in delivering small group interventions
·        Knowledge and awareness of Special Educational Needs
·        Minimum of CACHE 3 level training
·        Own visa is preferable

4Inclusion Learning Support Assistant- Immediate - Full Time

Due to rapidly expanding numbers, we are looking for an outstanding Learning Support Assistant to join immediately. The role involves small groups and 1:1 learning support for literacy, mathematics, motor skills, and/or language. The Individual Needs Support Assistant will support the teachers in enhancing the effective involvement of pupils with SEND and/or learning barriers in their academic and social development.

Responsibilities:
1. Plan and implement activities to support the IEP targets, follow structured literacy intervention programmes, and report professionally on the student's progress and outcomes when communicating with parents and teachers.
2. Provide in-class support in lessons, to facilitate successful access to differentiated learning,
3. Work alongside teachers and other staff to support pupils’ learning, especially those with SEND or a learning barrier.
4. Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
5. Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement, under the guidance of teachers.
6. Monitor, maintain & review records of pupil progress over time and support teachers to plan subsequent learning based on their needs.
7. Maintaining the learning environment and developing appropriate resources for students.
8. Apply strategies to promote students’ self-esteem, self-confidence, and independence
9. Work as part of the Inclusion Team, accessing relevant training and attending parent review meetings where necessary

Requirements:
- Candidate should have a GCSE in English, or equivalent, and be a proficient communicator in spoken and written English.
- Should have a relevant qualification and/or proof of completed training in education, and special educational needs.
- Prior experience in working in a support role in a school setting.
- Working hours are from 7.15am to 3.45pm
- Strong work ethic along with a commitment to staff and student privacy.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of inclusive pedagogies will be an advantage
- Knowledge of SEND will be an advantage.
