Sasha has been a literacy advisor in Wales, a Deputy Head Teacher in London and a Head Teacher in Cairo, Egypt. For the past 20 years she has enjoyed working with a diverse mix of educators who are passionate about teaching and learning. Sasha graduated from Chester with a BEd Honours degree and she gained her NPQH status in 2006. She continues to think outside the box with school initiatives and her autobiography will be called Method to the Madness. She is passionate about ‘CPD’ for teachers and enjoys bringing out the best in all children in a school. She was awarded Principal of the Year by Educational Journal Magazine in 2017 and by Schools Compared in the UAE in 2019. Sasha loves being part of a family community school where everyone knows your name. As founding Principal she has been able to help design the building, the curriculum, uniform and ethos. She is committed to reducing teacher workload and that purposeful projects give children a depth of learning.
Sasha is the designated governor for whole school development planning.
Mr. Dinesh C. Kothari is the Chairman of Victory Heights Primary School. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with his own financial consultancy practice, as well as a range of other business and educational interests. Mr. Kothari has been successfully managing the operations of schools both in India and UAE since 1998, with a proven track record in the field of education and is considered a leading educationalist. He is also a shareholder and the Managing Director of Delhi Private School in Sharjah, Delhi Private School in Discovery Gardens and Delhi Public School in Jodhpur, India.
Mr Kothari is the designated governor for Corporate Social Responsibility.

Ms. Vineeta Nayyar is the Managing Director of Victory Heights Primary School. She is an English law qualified corporate solicitor with a BA (Hons) in Economics and an MA from the University of Bristol as well as her legal qualifications from the College of Law, London. Ms. Nayyar had extensive experience in practicing corporate and commercial law, first as a solicitor with CMS Cameron McKenna in the City of London and then with the Berkshire Hathaway group in Switzerland. Along with Mr. Dinesh Kothari, Ms. Nayyar co-founded and set up The Wonder Years Nursery in 2011 and Victory Heights Primary School in 2013. Ms. Nayyar is responsible for the overall operational, legal and commercial management of both these institutions.
Vineeta is the designated governor for Health, Safety and Safeguarding
Marion Sinclair is an international educator and manager with over 30 years’ experience in the profession. As a lifelong learner she has pursued many opportunities in education as a teacher, a principal and an investor. Marion has guided and managed schools from inception through design and build projects and, as part of the British Schools in the Middle East organisation, led her school through UK government (British Schools Overseas), BSME accreditation and KHDA/DSIB inspection with outstanding status awarded.
She is a graduate and post graduate of both British and American Universities in education and educational management.
Marion is the governor responsible for EYFS.
Anju Kurrimboccus is a corporate accounting professional with over 20 years experience in companies ranging from manufacturing, mining and service sectors. She graduated with a Bachelor in Accounting Science degree from South Africa. Anju joined VHPS in 2013 as Financial Accountant.
Anju is the designated governor for student wellbeing.
She currently has two children in VHPS attending Year 3 and Year 1 respectively. She came to the UAE 18 years ago as a child with her parents and went to school here. After the birth of her first child she decided to leave full time employment and focus on my family. She's currently working part time as a HR consultant with Fujairah Media Group. When she has spare time, she usually down at the stables working with her beloved horses.
Sandra is the designated governor for Arabic and Islamic Studies.
Dr. Andrew Dalziell is a Consultant in Bilateral Integration, a fully qualified and experienced independent Neuro-developmental Practitioner, and a licensed provider of ‘Johansen IAS (Johansen Individualised Auditory Stimulation)’ and a SAMONAS Sound Therapist. Andy is a qualified teacher having graduated from Moray House Institute of Education, and achieved his Doctoral degree at the University of Edinburgh. Andy previously taught at University of Glasgow before working for the last 15 years in private practice working with infants, children, adolescents and adults with learning and behavioural difficulties as well as those who are underachieving despite good intellectual abilities. Andy is one of the creators of “Better Movers and Thinkers (BMT)” which is an innovative and novel approach to delivering quality Physical Education for students aged 3 to 18 years. The BMT programme has been rolled out across Scotland through the support and financial backing from Scottish Government. Andy continues to develop it further working with Education Scotland, a national teaching and learning organisation.
Andy is currently working on a national programme for increasing attainment in deprived areas in Scotland.
Andy is the designated governor for Inclusion.
Hayley is in her sixth year at VHPS and in September 2018 was appointed Teacher Governor. She has worked as a Year Leader in Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage, and has helped develop teaching and learning at the school in her role as a coach. Hayley has over 15 years experience in teaching, both internationally and in the UK. Prior to working in Dubai, she has worked at the Modern English School in Cairo.
Hayley is the designated governor for teaching and learning.
