At Victory Heights Primary School, we are incredibly proud of the high standards of academic attainment that our children achieve. Since our inception 3 years ago, our children have consistently performed extremely well against both curriculum and international standards, through a variety of internal and externally-verified measures. This year is no different – here is a snapshot of our children’s current academic performance.

Recent External Assessment – GL Progress Tests (Year 4, 5, and 6)

In English, 96% of children are working at or above international standards, with 88% working significantly above international standards.

In Maths, 96% of children are working at or above international standards, with 72% working significantly above international standards.

In Science, 97% of children are working at or above international standards, with 81% working significantly above international standards.

Internal Assessment Data – All children

On average, over 96% of our KS1 and KS2 children are meeting or exceeding the curriculum standards for reading, writing, maths, and science;

64% of KS1 and KS2 children are significantly exceeding the curriculum standards in these subjects;

In the Foundation Stage, 90% of our children are working at or above expected levels in the EYFS curriculum, including in maths, literacy, and science.

67% of Foundation Stage children are working above expectations in each of the seven main areas of EYFS learning;

Almost all children (96% in KS1 and KS2 and 92% in the Foundation Stage) are progressing at or above the expected rate of progress.
