Victory Heights Primary school exceeds the required standards. It is a very good school with some outstanding features.
The school is successful in its aim is to deliver a broad and balanced education which enables the individual child to develop to his or her maximum potential. It achieves this in a dynamic and caring environment that promotes essential qualities of integrity and loyalty, self-discipline, independence, self-confidence, kindness, mutual respect and consideration.
Throughout the school including the EYFS, pupils’ achievement and learning are very good. The pupils show high standards in knowledge, understanding and skills across a broad range of subjects and activities. From EYFS onwards, pupils follow a rich and varied programme with facilities, resources and educational visits matched well to pupils’ needs.
Standards attained by the pupils are high both academically in curriculum outcomes and in other spheres. The spiritual social and cultural development of the pupils is outstanding. British values are at the heart of the school. These values are evident in many aspects of the school’s daily life, both through the formal curriculum and the wider school life. The success of this can be measured through the high-quality attitudes, behaviour and habits of the pupils.
Pupils’ personal development is excellent due to a strong set of values promoted by the school to ensure that they grow in a caring and considerate community with a high quality of welfare and pastoral support. Pupils of all ages exhibit good behaviour, a strong moral code and are respectful and courteous to each other and to their teachers.
